I'm so glad you found our little corner of the internet. My name is Alyce Carlin and I own a super cute, little bridal shop in Salem, VA! But it's not a normal bridal shop ;)
When I opened the Newfangled Bride, I wanted to help brides find the dress of their dreams without stressing out their bank accounts too much. Mix that with a love for thrifting and my little consignment shop was born!
Fast forward to 10 years later, and we have helped hundreds of brides find their dream gowns! We now offer preloved (used), vintage and brand new dresses in store. I've had many (manyyy) ideas for the shop through the years, but a consistent dream was to bring the brand online and try to reach as many brides as possible.
With this blog, we hope to inform, inspire and share a little of the knowledge we've gained over the years. Planning your wedding is such an important life experience. I hope we can make the experience that much easier for you!
